What a lovely afternoon we had. Joe decided to take us to an old amusement park - still running, but barely.
On the way we stopped at Tammy's, a favorite burger place for us. There isn't really much to say about Tammy's. It too has seen better days. It's kind of a dive of a place. But the 6" burgers are phenomenal. The fries are equally delicious. The owner still insists on keeping the place like it was decades ago, with the same quality one would have expected back in the '50s.
At the amusement park walked around watching the people. We road the carousel and shared an Orange flavored Hawiian Ice. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Sabin enjoyed the carousel more this time than his first, but still seemed a little nervous about the whole thing. Notice how he holds on like a pro.Was it really only a month ago that he had no idea to grab the pole in front of him? It was fun to watch our little toddler.
My little boy thoroughly enjoyed walking all over the place today. And people seem to enjoy him.
Notice his "blue suede shoes". They squeak with every step. He draws a lot of attention, getting and giving smile after smile.
