Oh the Fun of Grandpa

Whenever Grandpa visits us he tries to cram a good 6+ months of lovin', spoilin', and fun into one short week. We love it when he's here and drink up every minute. This time Sabin was begging for a project that required his "real" tools. So we made a trip to Home Depot for a couple of building kits.

"Balsom Wood Airplames"

 Sabin had been asking and asking for a "balsom wood airplame from Hobby Lobby". He had never even seen one, just heard from a friend's daddy that you could get them at Hobby Lobby and they'd really fly.

He was so happy about the whole adventure! And generously shared the fun with "Cook".

Early this morning, Cohen smiles his very first smile and my heart melts bubbling over in giggles. In response he smile again as I fall deeper in love.

While I cooked dinner last evening the children busied themselves with scrap paper strips and glue sticks. I was impressed with the way that Sabin thought to make circles from the paper to create a mask. He was so proud of his creation he later hung it from a nail in our dining room so that we all could enjoy it.

Baby Plants

I went on a little nature walk with my daughter who loves all things "little" and "baby". She was thrilled with all the "new baby plants". We had to stop again and again to inspect them.

Oh! Those Baths

We don't use a baby tub. It is much more fun to just bathe with my babies. Cohen loves bath time. For the most part, it's time for just him and mama (although we've had other wee ones try to hone in on the action). He stretches and kicks and enjoys floating in the deep water. Then my favorite: he is sooo soft and snuggly after, smelling of lavender and calendula. Sniff... Ahhh...

An afternoon at the Park

We were able to take a nice walk today. I wrapped the baby giving me a free hand for each child. The sun felt warm and welcoming. We walked across the busy street to the park near our house. Sabin and Chloё were soooooo happy. Cohen slept for the entire outting.
