It took 3 weeks of solid work by Joey. And his brother Patrick came every evening to help. They worked late into each night to make this place livable. Lots of cleaning.
Lots of cleaning. Painting. Even replacing rotten subflooring. An electrician came in and worked hours, upon hours, upon hours replacing some crazy hazzards including open wiring and lamp cords run under ground.. Then we had family friends come help do more cleaning and painting. Mostly I stayed behind packing up and cleaning the old house. My tiny description does not do justice to the amount of work done just to cover the basics.
The kids and I stop by to check on the progress.
Water issues from the beginning.
Testing out our new tree.
Cuteness at the top of the stairs.
(You can see the bathroom in the background. There are two large bedrooms to the right and two large bedrooms to the left along with a master bath.)
New Subfloor in the livingroom.
New paint in the family room (and everywhere else too). This is the room with the wood burning stove.
New paint in the dining area.
After two days of scrubbing in the kitchen. Then paint.
Peacefully BuZzInG!
