Lobster Lovin'

Long after he was tucked into bed, we heard snickering in the bedroom. Upon investigation I found a crazy lobster boy semi-quietly dancing on the bed. (Nope, it did not occur to me to tell him that he could not dress in costume at bedtime.)

I couldn't stop laughing to say anything more than "go see your father".

CSA Processing Team

Every week we now go pick up our share of goodies from our CSA (community supported agriculture). We set up a plan to all work together and get it washed, sorted and put away to be canned, frozen, or eaten over the next few days. We LOVE all the fresh fruits and veggies.

A Wild FLOWER Hike

I love the way the Littles say this with an emphasis on "flower". To them it's the hike that is wild. The flowers are just the bonus.

The "Littles" hiked an impressive 1 1/2 miles over rather rocky terrain with a steep ascent and descent. They were pretty amazing.

It was our first trip of the season and Cohen's first ever. We stayed local, but it was nice to get away from our usual routine and just enjoy being together.

The Littles slept well, but Cohen was attentive to every noise, so mama didn't rest much. We had a fun time and are looking forward to our next outing.
